Hi Shawn, I am a much older generation then I feel you are. I appreciate that you help me to think and imagine what the future might be like. I have been shocked and disillusioned by the past two Covid years. I remain committed to work as a community. I hope we can work together to help our loved ones, children and grandchildren have the future we imagine. It is inspiring for me to hear you questioning, thinking and planning. Thank you

Hi Sandra

What a generous reply you have given to my posting. Everything we do now is to benefit the next generation. Disillusioned is an understatement. My entire view point has been altered.

Regardless of our feelings about this turn of events we must keep marching forward. If we stop now they will entrench, dig in and fortify Should that happen it will take generations to turn that around and get it back to a people focused society.

I am very happy to see your replies.

Shawn

Any industry that has managed to gain monopoly rights is eventually controlled by the elite or was created by the elite.

I have spent much of my adult life trying to eliminate recurring costs and being able to own what I use. Cars, software, services have been a target for reducing but it is difficult to avoid everything. and every recurring charge goes mostly towards a protected capitalistic industry. Those services that are ubiquitous and not held by monopolies fall in price over time and don't hurt as much like server hosting while those like fossil fuel will keep rising so we try and move to self generated solar but it is only now becoming cost effective.

Eliminating healthy food to replace it with patent medication is the hight of stupidity and will eventually fail because it cannot be sustained, the trade-off will eventually become visible to everyone and intellectually it cannot be justified.
